Slept in.
Had a small breakfast (smaller than usual...breakfast normally consists of a piece of toast with butter and apricot marmalade, very sweet orange juice, and very good coffee) I think today I didn't have toast, just coffee.
No motivation to do anything...studied a bit
Had lunch at 2:30. Penne pasta with meat sauce.
Later Amanda and I went out to run some errands such as refilling our Metro cards and exchanging/drawing out money. It was very, very hot.
We came back to drop off our stuff, refill our water bottles and then went back out with Alice to meet Megan and the other 2 at Retiro Park from which we would walk over to the Pride Parade.
Abby again didn't come with us.
Catherine was semi-lost so it took us awhile to get all together.
The Parade was insane!!! It is one of the biggest in the world...I think there were an estimated 2 million people all along the route. Some were picnicking, others drinking and dancing. There were firemen spraying hoses at the crowds for fun and to counter the heat.
I tried to upload a couple of videos but it just didn't work, sorry. It was a load, crowded party with bright colors and very flamboyant people. We stayed for about 3 hours and then made our way out in search of food. Made it to Sol and found a place to eat at a Japanese style restaurant. I had noodle sushi and split a Tempura Tapa with Catherine.
We all parted for the evening at about 11:00 and headed home. Amanda and I then proceeded to talk until 2:00 before we finally went to bed.
